For more than a decade, the work at Yarnbala has been driven by persistence, care and a deep respect for this landscape. Much of what exists today has been achieved through years of hands-on labour by the Slater family alone, with little formal funding or external support. Every project has been shaped by learning the land slowly and responding to what it needs, rather than forcing quick outcomes.

This page shares what has been achieved so far — the restoration, protection and innovation that has laid the foundations for Yarnbala as it exists today. It is also an important marker of where we are now. With the groundwork complete, Yarnbala is entering a new phase that will require broader support, partnerships and shared responsibility to continue and expand this work.
